Eat Sheep Monster by LisaSchindler
Eat Sheep Monster
Wow, I haven't posted in a long time; too long, actually. I have a lot to catch you guys up on, so I'll start with the most recent.

This is just a quick clay sketch for one of the monsters of CG Cookie's "Eat Sheep" video game. The figurine stands about 3 inches tall, and hopefully will be painted soon.

I am a traditional sculptor, based in California. I sculpt everything from scratch in clay, mold all the pieces and cast them in resin to reassemble the sculptures and make them ready for painting.

If you want you can follow me on Twitter (, Facebook (…), and Tumblr (, or check out my website for news and updates.

If you're interested in purchasing my figurines you can do so through my website, my Facebook page or my Storenvy store (
Hello everyone!

I hope you are all doing fine :)
Lately I have been working on cleaning up the mess (my mess, to be more exact) that is social networking Crying  and since precision work has been out of the question for a while (whine, whine, I know Wink/Razz ) I thought a little more structure would be nice. Especially since there pretty much aren't any good iOS apps for deviantART, so I can't just post to this profile on the go. And if I'm buried in clay up to my nose, a phone or my iPad that's always on my desk come in more handy than me having to walk through the apartment and over to my computer, dropping clay all over the place and making a mess. My husband would not be amused, ahem... :D

As probably every crafty person, I spend more time making stuff than surfing the web (at least usually); but since most of you are creative people yourselves, I guess you all know what I'm talking about. So, in order to make it easier to evenly distribute WiP shots and infos in general and connect with people I find inspiring (yeah, you!), my Tumblr, Facebook and Twitter account have been revamped a little. On top of that I created a Facebook page, since the personal postings are becoming too mingled with the business related posts, and I want one place on there that exclusively deals with my work.
I would love to connect with more people, so, if you do use one of these networks, please feel free to add me and connect! I'm also looking for more people who use Tumblr, since I do enjoy the simplicity of being able to write a short blog entry, but it seems not many people are using it, or Tumblr is just giving me really crappy results when I look for people I share interests with, who knows O_o but if you have an account, now you know mine, and I will obviously follow back, be it Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr or all of them.

I can be found here, hopefully one of your networks of choice:

My Facebook page (it'd be awesome if you could hit me up with a *like* for my page, it would help a lot)
Pinterest (I need to add more stuff on there that's kind of been lying dormant on my hard drive, but I will, eventually)

I hope to see you guys, and I'm looking forward to exchanging ideas and a good chat of course! Dance!

To you too Cher! :) What do you say, gobble gobble?
I do hope you were at home enjoying a piece of quiet and didn't get lost in a crazy mass of people fighting over something stupid at Walmart this Black Friday:D

(seeing some of the videos where people trample and fight each other over merchandise really made me go WTF?! I know, I wasn't born here and it apparently is a tradition, but... seeing that just makes me want to jump aboard the Nope-Train to Fuck-That-Ville, lol)

You might say gobble gobble if you're having turkey. I get tired of it after the first day. (we had something else :chew:)

That is human nature at it's worse!! Why go out and freeze,
when you can stay home and shop online... the same deals are there??
I think someone was actually killed a couple of years ago!

Saw a trampling one in London, UK a few days ago...What??
Oh, I also heard on the news, other people were taking things out of you cart of they wanted it!!
What happened to civilized man? :X I feel Karma is gonna get those that deserve it!

With all the ugly in the world, Google "hug" and Portland, OR.. guaranteed to touch your  Here's one for you my dear... :glomp:

I concur! And I saw that photo of the boy hugging the policeman, truly touching! Apparently he also had a similar moment with Xavier Rudd a while back, also really, really heart-warming. The guy asks the boy to come to the stage, because he's wearing his "free hugs" sign, and he hugs him. And then they just keep hugging while he keeps on singing until he himself starts crying. Oh my *sighs* lovely, really, lovely.
There is some good in this world after all, and if it's just in the form of a 12 year old boy hugging people :)

Wow ! You're very talented. I tried sculpting and I know it's not too easy.
